There is a section in the instructions on Github that lets you add third-party controllers to the driver, following a very complicated series of terminal commands and edits of the ist file, but I need the Vendor ID and Product IDs, which I can't find for this controller anywhere! Normally, you could find it under the USB device tree information, but since my controller doesn't show up there, I have no idea how to get the IDs to follow through with github's instructions. Additionally, my Mac doesn't even show that the controller is plugged in (About This Mac -> System report -> Hardware -> USB -> USB device tree-> the controller should be listed there, but it's not). In other words, it shows "no devices found" in the controller preference pane in my system preferences. You can open an application called Activity Monitor by searching for it in spotlight. The problem is.when I download the latest available version (or really any version, I've tried multiple) 360Controller driver off of Github, my computer doesn't recognize the xbox controller after i plug it into the USB port. Startup Disk preference pane is simply filtering out (that is, not. After restarting the app the preference pane (in my case time machine pane) could be loaded as expected. The game does already have an option to play with a 360 controller, so that isn't an issue. Alternatively Force Quit if System Preferences is open and in the Doc, just do a secondary click on the System Preferences icon, hit alt key 'Quit' will change got ' Force Quit ' and click that. I have a wired third-party controller for Xbox 360 ("Xbox 360 Wired Controller for Microsoft Xbox 360, Game Controller with Dual-Vibration Turbo for Xbox 360/360 Slim and PC Windows 7,8,10 (Black)") that I bought some time ago from YAEYE and I was hoping to use it to play a game I have on my Macbook Pro (Retina, 15in, Mid 2015 with Mojave installed, version 10.14.6).
